Still Life 7 (2026) Original Watercolour by Olexandr Romanenko

This expressive watercolor still life with fruits and vegetables is built on the contrast of rich, warm orange hues and cool, greenish-turquoise tones.

At the center of the composition is an enameled jug of rich emerald green. Its transparency and complex reflections are particularly effectively conveyed by the watercolor transitions—from deep, dark shadows to highlights. A sliced pumpkin with its vibrant flesh stands nearby, becoming the main color accent of the composition.
