Still Blooming was created through a slow, intuitive process, allowing colour and movement to unfold naturally on the surface. I was drawn to the idea of growth that happens quietly, without urgency, where forms shift and soften rather than push forward. The pinks, greens, and deeper tones move in and out of one another, suggesting change that feels gentle and unforced.

I work by responding to each mark as it appears, letting the painting guide its own direction. Some areas remain loose and fluid, while others carry more weight, creating balance through contrast rather than symmetry. The white space is intentional, giving the composition room to breathe and keeping the energy light.

At 28 x 40 inches, this piece has a calm, expressive presence that suits both intimate and open interiors. Still Blooming is about quiet growth and subtle emotion, offering a sense of softness and continuity that settles into a space over time.
