Original artwork description:

I spotted, not without a twinge of envy, steps leading up to a shaded doorway. Foliage, potted plants, and Mediterranean flora added their scent and shadow. Beautiful smooth walls, honeysuckle, oleander and rosemary tantalise with their scents. Italy at it's summery best. A lovely work which is ideal as a gift.

Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.

Materials used:

cotton and wood canvas, acrylic paint, paper/card, glue, clear varnish gloss
