Original artwork description:

A flower growing out of shadow and light. Its petals are like shards of steel - sharp and cold, like missiles carrying destruction. It reminds us of other “flowers” on our land - mines that, like hidden roots, are waiting for their time to strike with pain.

However, this flower is not only about destruction. It is about memory: about the steel people who held the land with their lives like unbreakable roots. It is about the tenderness of nature, which continues to grow even through the ashes of war. Each of its lines is a call to appreciate every moment, to protect every flower, and to remember everyone who gave themselves for our future.
The artwork took part in the exhibition Temporarily Here, 2025.
