The painting does not celebrate a finished, immutable work, but rather the process itself. The abrasions and overlays suggest that the artwork is not merely "made," but is continuously "happening."
The dark central line, resembling a misty horizon, acts as a "point zero." It is a meditative space where the weight of matter (below) meets the rarefaction of the spirit (above). In this space, the viewer is invited to reflect on their own position: we, too, are layers of past experiences (stasis) constantly washed over by the flow of present events (change).
