In "Star is born," I confront the self-righteous illusions of fatherhood and the heavy burden of projection. Many fathers, blinded by their own ego and convinced of their own perfection, automatically expect their children to follow exactly in their footsteps. They think, "I am a star, so my son must become a star too." With this piece, I wanted to explore the silent psychological strain this mindset inflicts on a child. Instead of forcing a newborn into a pre-made mold of heroism and flawless success, we need to respect their unique path. A child does not exist to satisfy a parent's pride or fix their unfulfilled dreams. For me, this artwork is a direct reminder to wake up from these misguided expectations; every child deserves the freedom to find their own identity and shine on their own terms.
