There is something magical about trees, especially the conifers. As a kid I would take part in plucking fruit from our family orchards. My love of trees started from there I guess. My favourite is a weeping willow closely followed by the variety of conifers. On my walks in the Dunham Forest, I go past this tree most days. It stands with a majestic demeanour surrounded by raven nests on surrounding tress. This view is from a misty morning walk. I find mist quite romantic. I have done a series on ravens inspired from the same walks. I could easily live in a forest in a log cabin. There was a French artist who would talk to trees. I haven’t gone that far yet with my obsession ha ha.
