This sculpture started with a partially diagonally sawn piece of travertine that had been in my studio for years. Quite large in size (for me). An interesting stone, of natural colour, with a vivid expression.

I wanted to make a robust form, with a small movement. The start was quickly made. But it turned out to be quite a quest to get what I wanted. And so this stone sculpture became many kilos lighter during the process. It is now standing, solid and sturdy.

This sculptrue is also suitable for outdoor.
