Original artwork description
The idea for this watercolour came from trying to hide from the seagulls whilst eating our Cornish pastie around the seafront at St Ives! This was the right spot and had a cover to protect you from dive bombing gulls -not a bad view for a painting either.
The watercolour was painted on site in the beautiful Cornish town of St Ives on Smeatons Pier using top quality non fade pigments on heavyweight rag paper.
