- Sør Gjæslingan II
Artwork description
This photograph is from the very idyllic islands of Sør Gjæslingan in Vikna, Norway on a summer's night in late July 2008. Like many traditional fishing communities Sør Gjæslingan became obsolete as the fishing industry modernised and it was abandoned and left to fall into disrepair until some enthusiasts started to restore the houses, and they are now summer homes and some are let out to tourists.
Also available in other sizes:
59x42cm - edition of 50
119x84cm - edition of 25
