This original oil painting was inspired by the waters of Mediterranean Sea, on the coast of Crete.
Sea foam has a special mythological meaning - Aphroditis was born from the foam of the Mediterranean Sea, and Andersen's little mermaid turned into the foam and merged with the sea forever. The viewer is free to see their own story in this foaming wave.
Round shape/ tondo with a diameter of 50 cm with approximately 2 cm deep border, varnished. Signed in back and front. Ready to hang.
