This is my original oil painting on a 12x12 inch cradled panel, inspired by the joy and colour of springtime in the countryside. I wanted to create a cheerful, folk art-style scene full of life and warmth—so you’ll find pink blossom trees in full bloom, peaceful blue water with little sailboats, rolling hills, and sheep dotted through the fields.
There are small figures enjoying the view, and I’ve painted everything with a sense of playfulness and calm.
