Spring Awakening: The forces and the diversity of colors and forms in nature during springtime inspired this modern and detailed composition. The first buds, blossoms, and leaves emerge with their fresh green; with the first warmer rays of sunshine, the animal world becomes more active, the birds chirp... - on my palette, I mixed shades of green, blue, violet, white, black, lavender, magenta, orange, and yellow for this painting. The colors enrich each other; like a symphony, their interplay creates more than any single hue.
