Original artwork description
This studio painting is based on my plein air (painted on location) study. I was inspired by the openness and tranquility of this meadow, falling in love with the bright purple lupine flowers leading the eye to the far-away eucalyptus trees and a purple-bluish range of mountains.
Materials:
Oil paint on stretched linen canvas. Unframed, wired and ready to hang without a frame.
