The tree sits in a remote rural hamlet in Haute-Vienne France, frozen in time with old rustic stone houses, outbuildings and vegetable plots. I was captivated by the dancing leaves as they radiated the sun. Painted in a loose, impressionist manner on Italian canvas attached to a board. It has been left to dry before being varnished.
