Spring colours in this gentle seascape sooth the spirits.
Based on photographs taken in May, when visiting Cornwall, this painting takes me back to a time of soft, spring light, of whites infusing the bright colours that will sing in summer.
A semi abstract interpretation of this estuary view. Bold brushstrokes and textured palette knife, work to combine with soft blending, to reflect the gentle flow of water, green landscape and warm sky.
Ready to hang.
This piece was created using Michael Harding Professional Artists oil colours on a gesso primed, mounted wooden panel. The edges are painted white (please see additional photograph), and it is ready to hang. It is signed and dated on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
