The embrace so complete that where one ends and the other begins is almost impossible to say. And then, quietly, spring arrives — as if the earth itself is responding to the tenderness of the touch.

This is not a painting of two specific people. It is a painting of the feeling of being held, being cared for and the quiet insistence of life returning.

I called it Spring because spring is here and because spring is what I needed. The season of renewal, of warmth returning, of life insisting on itself despite everything.
