On a corner of Hull’s Spring Bank, a funky shop, shutters bedecked with lurid spray paint and an iconic Hull telephone box. The building is brick, Victorian, still standing strong, if a tad worse for wear. The work is rich in realism and is both unusual and full of life and charm. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished. Texture has been added to create atmosphere.
