I was making this piece in spring. So I guess I got inspired by the nature processes happening at the time. I like comparing spring to the artist taking new canvas . It is totally white with not a single spot on it, but there is a promise hanging in the air - feeling that good things are about to happen. Nature covered in snow gives me very similar feeling. Spring promises us that soon snow will melt and something beautiful is going to appear from under it. In my painting I tried to capture the moment of that appearance.
It's a light textured original acrylic painting on canvas (65 x 90 x 1.5). Painting is painted around the edges, giving it a contemporary look and is ready to hang.
