Original artwork description
Spiritual Incorporeality
This painting explores the theme of transcendence beyond the physical form. Two human figures are depicted in an intimate embrace, their bodies softly dissolving into textured layers of color and light. Their closeness suggests unity, trust, and a shared inner journey rather than a purely physical connection.
Emerging from the surrounding space is a staircase ascending upward, leading toward a slightly open door. Beyond this door lies the night — deep, quiet, and infinite. The darkness is not threatening; instead, it evokes mystery, contemplation, and the unknown realm beyond material existence.
The figures appear suspended between worlds: grounded in human emotion yet drawn toward something higher and unseen. The staircase becomes a symbol of spiritual ascent, while the open door represents a threshold — a passage from the tangible to the intangible, from form to spirit.
Through muted tones, layered textures, and softened contours, Spiritual Incorporeality invites the viewer to reflect on love as a guiding force, and on the quiet courage required to step beyond the limits of the physical world into the vastness of the soul.
