Pumpkins and crows are odd couple yet they go together perfectly, specially creating that chilly October spirit. Far up the hill, it could be old abandoned church or it could be old barn adding to this October spirit, anticipating the cold winter is yet to come. In Korean folk tale Crows bring bad news. I think what it means to bring cold winter. Korean winter is bitter cold. I remember these misunderstood charming birds on the frozen earth looking for something to eat which all of our post Korean children were doing the same thing. This is a moody cool atmospheric oil painting.
