From the Artist's series Spatial history, a continuation of the series River meets sea, and inspired by Parr's childhood memories of fishing for mackerel with her father, whilst also considering where "exactly" the river meets the sea and exploring the fine line between pure abstraction and figurative recognition, between spontaneity and controlled intention in the painting process.
Spatial history, is a series of autobiographical landscapes, expressing both emotional and personal connections of identity for the Artist.
