Sparkling Water (2025) Original Acrylic Painting by Marita Tobner

80 x 80 x 3cm (unframed)

£1,370.22

*Sparkling Water* is part of my series "the nature is absent." In this work, shades of light blue, turquoise, yellow, green, pink, and white—alongside areas of dark violet and black—condense into an open structure. Transparent layers of color overlay opaque sections, while pink lines both connect and delineate specific zones of the image. Breaks, overlaps, and fluid transitions remain visible between the color fields. The series explores the loss of human qualities such as humility, empathy, and a sense of responsibility. I am interested in how this shift can be expressed through visual language without relying on concrete motifs.

The artwork is created with acrylcolours on Wood. The sides are painted and signed and it comes with a hangar on the back.
