With Sparkling Melody, I explored the feelings inspired by the beautiful, ever changing colors of the sky.
I started with an under-painting process that naturally creates organic forms. Then I tightened up those forms by painting structural lines and marks. This layering technique mirrors the larger theme of my work: the hard edges of our structured world contrasted against the organic forms of the natural world.
Sparkling Melody draws inspiration from autumn’s transitions, a season that unveils the vibrant beauty of life while gently preparing for rest. This painting explores the interplay between your deeper self, your untamed spirit, and your hidden desires—emerging like autumn’s bold colors—through the surface of your higher self, guiding you toward balance and wholeness.
