This original solid gabbro and optical glass sculpture is handcrafted by the national famous contemporary professional sculptor Ognyan Chitakov, deeply inspired by constructivism, modernism and conceptualism. It has an authentic natural charm, mixed with the unique artistic signature and skills. Gabbro is a mafic intrusive igneous rock formed from the slow cooling of magma into a holocrystalline mass deep beneath the Earth's surface. Much of the Earth's oceanic crust is made of gabbro. Because of its large crystalline structure it can be polished and reflect with light.
