Paul was fascinated by the vibrant colours of the shoreline, particularly the kelp beds, on his recent visit to the Isle of Lewis and Harris. 'South. To Uig' seeks to accentuate the vibrancy of the former, developing the scene into a graphic composition with the bay headlands jutting out into a shimmering bay.
