I don’t paint artworks…
In fact, I feel that I rather tell stories; mine, yours… and these stories are triggered by a remote memory, from an old rediscovered book, an obsessive tune, a poem or a game that belongs to childhood.
This painting, inspired by a Patty Pravo song, depicts a surreal urban scene, where material life smoothly goes on, mixing streets, faces, birds, ordinary people with heavenly angels, spring and winter, the blue skies and the gray clouds, creating a sense of modern spiritualism and nostalgia.
