Artwork description:

sending out the peacedoves, full of songs of hope, something we need right now!

a handprinted aquatint etching, this means that as the artist, I create a copperplate that holds the image, from this copperplate I print an edition, every time a print is printed, the copperplate has to be inked up, this means that small differences can occur, and should be treasured as to why etchings are called original prints. Etchings are lovely to make as they can hold so much detail, you do the drawing with a needle through an acid resistant varnish, and can add details over the many times a copper plate like this gets put in the acid bath. when I am happy with the drawing I add aquatint, a process that gives gradations in the soft colors.

I printed "Songs of Hope" on a piece of beautiful warm white printmaking paper, that measures 12" x 18",(30 cm x 46 cm) the size of the copperplate image is 8" x 12,5" (21 cm x 32 cm), this gives you plenty of paper to frame the print as a statement if you would like.

I sign, title and number each print.
The aquatint etching is printed in a limited edition of only 40 prints.
Please note that I can't guarantee that you receive the number in the photograph.

I'll mail your etching from my studio in Denmark with a lot of care so it arrives safely, see my over 1000 reviews!
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch, I'd love to hear from you!
