I painted this piece to capture the simple beauty and harmony found in nature. I’ve always been inspired by birds – their grace, movement, and the way they bring life to a scene. The soft, delicate flowers create a gentle backdrop, letting the vibrant colors of the birds stand out. I wanted to give the painting a sense of calm and joy, as if these little birds just paused for a moment to enjoy the flowers. There’s something peaceful about that interaction, and I tried to reflect that in the soft washes and subtle details.
