This is a typical Lake District scene, hills, river, sheep and trees. A walker's paradise. Much of the foreground is painted from how I recall the perfect Lake District vista from my vivid dreams and imagination. Can you smell the freshness oozing from this light and airy painting? I want to be there right next to the sheep looking downstream towards the towering hill.
