Solstice Johnson brims with rhythm and energy, its fractured geometry and layered palette evoking the pulse of a city seen through shifting light. Grids of black and white form the architecture of the work, creating a labyrinth of compartments, doorways, and windows. Within these frames, bursts of colour, hot pink, gold, emerald, cobalt, flare like stained glass catching the sun at its highest or lowest point.
