One of my favourite places in the world is London's Old Compton Street. I am drawn by its noises and the smell of ground coffee, frying food and the aroma of pubs and bars. It is always alive, a swirl of positive energy, the buzz of hundreds of people enjoying life. I come here whenever I can. This view is of a popular local pub, and the palette is rich is earthy, brick-like colours. The canvas is 0.4 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished. A perfect souvenir of London.
