I find inspiration for my works by observing things in my everyday life. It could be the pattern on a cup or plate; it could be a pattern on a wall or the way a shadow falls. When I'm traveling, I love to take pictures of the landscape and things I see. I often use these pictures as a basis for my motifs.
This painting "Soft landing" shows a landscape built up of fields with different patterns. In the middle of the picture is a bird. This bird is created from newspaper and then glued into the landscape, and thus the bird becomes part of the painting.
