Artwork description
A handmade seven colour linocut of Highgate Wood under the soft light of dusk.
I have used the reduction method where I cut away from the same block of Lino in between each layer of colour. Carve, ink, print seven times!
This technique requires a lot of patience and although I do start with a colour pencil drawing to guide me, the plan is always changing!
This will be backed, wrapped in acetate and flat-packed between layers of mount card and shipped signed and tracked within four days.

Somerset Satin paper 250g, Intaglio relief ink
