His Socially Distanced Series of April, 2020 is a reaction to the mandatory and essential stay at home orders mandated by our governments. These paintings deal with the toll the isolation has on his Momma, who is 84, and her friends who are at high risk of contracting the disease. The weight of our elderly population around the world- multiplied by millions- who are staying home alone for days and weeks is a heavy burden. But with social media, tele-video, texting and regular food deliveries we make the most of today.
