This painting is another of three I did one year for the St. Paul Winter Carnival art show in St.Paul, Mn. I liked the humor of "snowbirds" , a term used for people in the U.S. that travel to other places to escape the cold. In this case they were coming to the cold.
It is done with watercolor, ink and pastel on 140lb. watercolor paper.
