Original artwork description:

This was painted on a beautiful sunny morning after 2 days of snow. I wanted to capture the blue created by shadows on the snow. The colours were so clear and bright, I only hope I have managed to recreate them in this painting.
This is painted on a linen canvas in a bespoke wooden frame of pale grey with gold leaf beading and pale cream slip.
