Hello,
Happy spring. This work is the first in a series of 1970s TV subjects that inspire m.
I am very inspired by the spy and cop thrillers of the era, particularly the garish and flamboyant surroundings of the action.
Take a look at Smileys People - every scene has terrible wallpaper and decaying paraphernalia from 1970s Britain. I love the subject of Smiley who was portrayed as a nice man, but who has a hidden, vicious streak. This is what I try to capture here.
