“Emerald Tide Passage” is an original small square abstract painting, created with acrylic on canvas, 40 x 40 cm, stretched on wooden bars and ready to hang.
In this contemporary abstract seascape, I explored the meeting of deep emerald green and soft misty blue tones. The textured acrylic layers were built with palette knife and expressive brush gestures, creating contrast between rich dark green, blackened earth, ivory white, and pale aqua.
The left side carries depth and intensity — layered green and charcoal textures with thick impasto surface. The right side opens into luminous white and light blue space, where the paint softens and dissolves. Fine vertical drips and scraped textures add movement and organic rhythm.
