A broken branch of an oak tree is probably not given special attention by many. But for children and artists it can be the beginning of a creative journey. In the artist's case, this branch was the basis of a new sculpture that follows the original form of the piece of nature, but refines it and transforms it into an organic and complex-shaped sculpture. The artist is not concerned with depicting something. The wood itself as a natural material and an aesthetic design with a play of edges and surfaces are content enough. The sculpture is thus a refined piece of nature and invites you to enjoy the look and feel. Associations are of course allowed, but this is a matter of observation. The wood is waxed and the sculpture is mounted on a dark stone slab.
