In this artwork, I explored the visceral texture and depth using acrylic and oil. The vivid contrasts and layered strokes evoke a scene of decay and transformation, communicating the beauty and melancholy of impermanence. Each sweep and scratch of color captures a fleeting moment, inviting viewers to confront the ephemerality of existence. It’s a piece that not only enhances a space visually but also imbues it with a profound, reflective energy.
Layers of acrylics applied and removed in a variety of techniques on a 36x48in wood panel. Arrives ready to hang mounted flush to a 1.5in deep frame, giving it the appearance of a stretched canvas.
