Master copies are a continual (at least for me) practice that goes back centuries. This drawing of this sweet sleeping baby is after a drawing by John Vanderpoel. Vanderpoel was a wonderful artist and teacher of the early 1900's and I use the images in his book when I teach figure and portrait drawing.
This drawing is worked on Stonehenge warm white acid free paper and graphite and would make a wonderful new baby or baby shower gift for you or a special friend. I
t comes in an acid free mat so all you will need to do is get a standard 11 x 14 frame to insert the matted drawing into. I can happily suggest some framing styles or a places to get frames that are very reasonable. I'm showing this with a single mat but I can also place it in an acid free double white mat with no extra cost to you.
