Original artwork description
This is an original painting of the male figure. I was interested in depicting the figure primarily by using contour lines, for which I used a very fine wire to give extra definition and texture to the painting. Although the painting looks monochrome at first glace, the greys are made up of many shades of colour.
It is painted on deep profile canvas, with the sides painted black.
