“SkyWalker,” a macro photograph by Inna Etuvgi, also known as My Psychedelic Garden. This piece showcases Cladonia pyxidata lichen, its split base anchored in the snow, reminiscent of a dreamer standing amidst the clouds.

Captured in the Swedish forest of Huskvarna, the lichen's form evokes the image of a human figure elevated in a realm of dreams, a true 'Sky Walker.' It's a tribute to the daydreamers and the imaginatively inclined, those who tread lightly on the cloud of dreams, heads graced by the sky.

For every soul that wanders in the lofty expanse of their thoughts, this print is for you."

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Inna Etuvgi is a Swedish-Chukchi artist whose work defines the concept of Cybernetic Animism—a bridge between indigenous Arctic intuition and technical precision. Raised in a remote village in Chukotka and trained in technical cybernetics, Etuvgi explores the shared "soul" of natural ecosystems and digital algorithms.

Living with Aphantasia—the inability to visualize mental images—Etuvgi uses her camera and Generative AI as a "visual prosthesis" to externalize deep emotional landscapes. Her macro photography magnifies nature’s smallest details, urging a shift from a human-centered worldview to one of interconnectedness.

Internationally recognized as an Arte Laguna Prize finalist (Venice) and a recipient of the Swedish Arts Grants Committee grant, Etuvgi’s work is held in private collections worldwide. As art critic Tabish Khan notes: “Her work transports us to other worlds—both real and imaginary, but always in harmony with nature.”

Materials used:

fine art paper, archival pigment inks, Ph-neutral passepartout
