Original artwork description
Here is an abstract work that is actually based on a portrait. If you look carefully, you can see the face of a young woman resting on her fists.
Skin Deep Beauty is a one of a kind, original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil archival grade mylar. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors. For this painting, the three patterns are laminated to the mylar in collage fashion.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This painting will be shipped in a tube. The artwork is done on laminated architectural drafting mylar. It does not have to be stretched like canvas or watercolor paper and is very easy to mount on any type of board: plywood, masonite, foamboard, etc. I include simple mounting instructions with each piece that I sell. You can see these instructions at the “me at work” section of my shop. I include a hanging strip and a drywall hanging device. Everything that you need to mount your painting except the board.
