Original artwork description
I've made many paintings of Aldeburgh beach during various stays there although this one was made in 2017. The Silver Harvest, an iconic boat at Aldeburgh is surrounded by the paraphernalia of sea fishing including buoys, nets and ropes etc. The yellow tractor on the left are used up and down the beach to haul the boats in and out of the water.
Materials used:
Windsor & Newton artist quality watercolours; Cobolt Blue, Light Red, Alizarin and Raw Sienna on Bockingford 200lb paper.
