Original artwork description:

When creating this painting, I wanted to capture the quiet moment between a rider and his horse, symbolizing a dialogue between man and nature. The sunset sky, painted in contrasting shades of warm orange and deep blue, reflects both freedom and the passage of time. The rider gazes downward while the horse bows its head peacefully, creating an atmosphere of reflection and tranquility.

I used thick layers of oil paint to bring out the texture of the grassland, with quick brushstrokes to capture the movement of the wind. The horse and rider were rendered with more delicate strokes to highlight them as the focal point. For the sky, I employed broad, soft blending to achieve natural transitions in color, evoking a sense of vastness and dreamlike beauty. In terms of color treatment, I emphasized strong contrasts of light and shadow, making the scene powerful yet poetically gentle.

Materials used:

Acrylic
