This painting began with light—an expanding, diffused glow that gradually shaped the entire composition.

I worked from the center outward, allowing soft whites to open the space while cool blue tones and deeper charcoal areas created contrast and direction. Warm ochre accents emerged naturally within the process, adding a subtle warmth that balances the cooler palette.

The composition developed through layered acrylic techniques, using both brush and palette knife. Some areas were built up and textured, while others were softened and blended, creating a surface that feels both dynamic and calm. The lower part of the painting carries reflective qualities, as if the forms dissolve and reappear within the space.

What I was exploring here is the feeling of openness—how light interacts with structure and how depth can be created through tonal shifts rather than defined forms.

The palette—blue, white, beige, grey, charcoal, and ochre—creates a refined and timeless atmosphere. It works beautifully in modern interiors, bringing light, depth, and a sense of quiet movement into the space.

At 120 × 90 cm, this painting has a strong presence while remaining elegant and adaptable. It becomes a focal point without overwhelming, making it ideal for a living room, bedroom, or contemporary interior setting.

This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, created to transform a space and continue revealing new layers over time.

The artwork is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and ships in a tube. This method is particularly safe for oversized works and ensures lower transport costs. Rolled works may be easily stretched upon arrival (placed on wooden stretchers for canvases) and/or framed by a local framer.
