When I painted Silent Drift, I wanted to capture the delicate balance between movement and stillness. To me, the work speaks of those in-between moments where time seems to slow down, and everything feels suspended. The horizon here isn’t fixed — it drifts, quietly, without urgency — much like thought or breath. This painting is my way of holding onto that fleeting sense of calm, offering the viewer a space to pause, reflect, and simply drift with it.
