Silent Drift 2 extends the quiet, contemplative language of its companion piece, yet introduces a warmer emotional current. Soft layers of pale apricot, dusky blue, and muted grey drift across the canvas, accompanied by subtle notes of reddish-brown that ground the composition with a gentle depth. The tones feel both airy and earthy—like a memory suspended between warmth and distance.

Painted on unstretched canvas and later mounted and framed in linden wood, the surface carries delicate traces of its making: fine creases in the fabric and the textured build-up of layered paint. These imperfections are part of the work’s character, adding tactile honesty and a quiet sense of time embedded in the piece.
